Why do I blog as the Roaming Redhead? 1) I find the phrase "homesick for Heaven" (Os Guiness, "The Call") rather powerful, and descriptive of my spiritual and earthly journey. I deeply love the life I have been given. I have found my earthly calling of glorifying God with all I do to be humbling, challenging, and satisfying, but my eternal calling cannot be forgotten, nor do I wish it to be. That being said, I feel I blogging as a 'roamer' in this world fits the "in this world and not of it" calling of John 17. 2) I love exploring, both in academia and through traveling. I am constantly seeking to learn new things, and hope to travel many places and discover more wonders of creation in the time I have been given in my Father's world. 3) I have red hair.
